Architecture Photography

This photo was captured while out shooting for the landscaping & pool companies who worked on the exterior of this residential property located in southern Ontario. This aerial shot was one of my "capture it all" shots meant to showcase the landscaping work and setting it within the landscape with scenic Lake Ontario nearby. The photo was captured from a DJI Mavic 3 in a single exposure shortly before sunset. to ensure detail was captured in the sky as well as the darker areas of the image. The editing consisted of the usual lighting corrections, as well as some light retouching and object removal to clean up a few water stains by the pool and several visually distracting cars parked on the road in front of the house. The shoot for this client consisted of only two hours on site on a single visit (with over 50 deliverable photos requested), so given the circumstances I was happy with how the final shot turned out for this one, though I wish the tree nearest camera wasn't looking so sparse.
