The image is from a late-night party where I was invited to set up lights in the corner and shoot pics of whoever wanted a portrait - this local dancer came ready to participate. Shot with Canon 5D Mark IV using gelled profoto heads for the background. The side light was also gelled and covered with a cloth skrim and the front light was a snoot. Photos from the session vary greatly as people highlighted different sections of their faces with the narrow beam coming from the snoot while the gel tinted the other parts.
