I took this photo of my friend at the beach just outside the city of Toronto. I just used some early morning natural light, and made sure that the light was situated so that it would be flattering for my subject as well as the background. I used a 50mm lens on a Nikon D800. One of my favorite images due to the fact that nothing in the image is really trying to do anything special or extreme...just some decent lighting and a relaxed subject.
