Originally the idea was to do a beauty image. So the background is a big softbox, the main light is a beauty dish with a sock and some fill with a white cardboard from below. I always try to get a non standard expression which worked well in this shot I feel. As mentioned it was supposed to be a beauty shot but once I started converting it to B&W I like it much more.
