I shot this picture of my brother at the beach one night. He was out smoking a cigar and seeing the smoke gave me an idea. I grabbed my speedlight and set it up about head high behind him. I got him to make a lot of smoke and then take the shot with the flash. I love the silhouette and detail in the smoke. This was the D600.
