Unique Lighting

this photo was inspired by a similar concept photo i saw a while back, when photographing the can, for the life of me i couldn't find the original inspiration, so i had to work from memory, and give it my own spin.
i placed the can on a glass sheet, illuminating it from underneath with a RGB light, and a piece of diffusion, giving it the green glow.
my goal was to create kind of a smokey night scene, (i also experimented with adding the moon in the background, but settled on keeping the light out of frame)
(very minimalist Photoshop work (i had to reduce the amount of light on the background, it took to much attention. but noticed it only in post production. that's why it's a bit funky back there)
