This is a single long exposure, no photoshop except a little clean up. I wanted to show the calm state of the athlete before they explode into action. I used a blue gelled flash at the start, and orange at the end of the movement on the other side. Continuous light created the movement trails inbetween. The trick was getting the right balance between all three.
