This was recently done at a studio in Toronto. I was aiming for a very contemplative feel to the images but because the studio had big windows that couldn't be shut as well as a massive skylight I had limited ability to control the light. To make things worse there was an ugly SUV parked right outside the window. Thus I opted to blow out the exposure on the window to hide the SUV and focused on created a high contrast scene that was able to bring a serenity to the whole shot that I love. I was able to avoid the shot becoming a silhouette by putting a big octa on a 300w LED light set to max power directly in front of the scene to give just a hint of fill.
