This is from a studio test shoot with a model. It was shot with one strobe in a 38" deep para softbox camera left, at nearly 90 degrees to the subject. I also used a black V-flat camera right to increase contrast. The backdrop is a canvas drop that I painted myself, and I held a bit of gel in front of the lens to create the flare effect on the edge of frame.
