This is from a portfolio shoot with an actor/friend. I used a strobe with a green gel in a 1'x3' stripbox just out of frame and slightly above the lens camera left with a grid to control spill, and blackwrap to cover the top half of the stripbox to make it a bit harder. There was also a strobe on the background with a cyan gel at low power pointed at the grey paper backdrop. Then we sprayed his face with glycerin to make it extra greasy-looking.
