Shot with the Canon5dmk3 and with the 24-105mm f4 IS lens that I used quite a lot for portrait shoots.
image has potential, but your highlights are waaaaaaaaaaaaay blownout. when you're composing, make sure to check the left side of your histogram and if the white lines are all the way to the top, dial back your exposure, or your strobe. in this case your ambient light is dark so your strobe must be way too hot. also, doing the shoot in a hotel room is kinda creepy.
I think this is on purpose, as a style.
yes, harsh light is a style, but overexposed is not a style.
