It had been 15 years since I'd shot a roll of film. Black and white was my beginnings, Ilford HP5 in fact was my first ever stock. On a recent trip to Japan, I bought vintage Yashica FR2 in pristine condition, and two rolls of HP5 - it was time to relive my roots! This photo was taken on a photo walk in Shinjuku, through some of the narrow streets of bars and izakayas. It was dusk, and fortunately there was enough lighting to capture what I did.
