On a sadly grim weather day in Paris, it's easy to want to just stay inside. But on this day, I wanted pictures! And I decided that the business district of the city in La Defense would be a fantastic location to shoot the modern buildings, with the soft lighting and reflections. I let my eye and camera guide me all afternoon, and the way this building in particular stood up among the clouds really struck my eye. Through the edit in Lightroom I really tried to exploit that moody vibe with the sun battling to break through the clouds, and be reunited with this building in the sky.
