Taken on a military base in San Diego. Our flag was at half- staff due to a death of a political official. As we drove out I took this with my mobile device and forgot about it. Upon reviewing the photos I noticed the light beam descending downward directly into the flag at half- staff and thought, "How incredibly appropriate". This light flare was not added nor manipulated in any way. But definitely set the mood.
