The concept is adapted from the 1960 season 2 episode 12 of “The Twilight Zone” written by Rod Serling called “Eye of the Beholder”. In the classic Twilight Zone episode, a woman's natural beauty makes her a freak in a futuristic society, so she undergoes her 11th surgical attempt to be like everyone else.

The objective of the photo editorial centers on conformity, the idea of standardized beauty and how it affects art and life in the modern world.
