While on safari in Africa... kidding. I took this picture at the Omaha zoo in Nebraska. The photo was taken at the tail end of our two week long honeymoon and we were passing through Nebraska on our way home. The background in the original photo was not very nice, but I loved his pose and expression. I wanted this image to look more like a studio portrait so I remove the cement wall in the background and added the shadows with gradients to isolate the gorilla. Shot on Canon EOS R7 with a Sigma 100-400mm. (ISO 5000, f/6.3, 1/800, 400mm)
