This is my first encounter with the northern lights in my life.
I have tried 3 years in a row to catch these beauties in my porfolio.
this year I finally achieved this goal.

The shot was taken after a 16 hours journey with 3 flights accross norway, to reach Leknes, I arrived at the rental home at 00:00 and looking at the sky, I took my gear and headed to a spot that I knew well.

What at night, I had chance to whitness the whole scope of colors from northern lights from green to pink.

The shot is taken with a GFX50s II at 30mm.
