Taken towards the end of the summer in Savonlinna Finland at 2 in the morning. Wanted to capture a moody morning photo. I grew up in this area and wanted to capture a scene of home as I don't live here any more and also show about early mornings to my friends who don't know about the night sky in Finland. Also the place I love the most in the world.

Editing just moved some single strands of reeds. My editing style is adding saturation to the colour.
The hardest part was standing in 3ft of water and being bitten by mosquitos...
I was just starting in photography and this was my first landscape photo I had taken and from the positive comments I received gave me confidence to become a landscape photographer more so compared to other areas.
