This was taken in the Four Peaks area near Phoenix, AZ. Sometimes in the winter a snowstorm will dust these mountains in snow (which will melt in a couple days). Clouds will often obscure the four mountain peaks. I took this at sunset hoping the sun would peak through and illuminate the mountains. That didn’t happen but I really liked the mood of this scene. I used some Lightroom contrast and color adjustments to make the mountains “pop” a little more.
