I took this picture of the glaciers edge close to French Ridge in the Matukituki Valley in New Zealand. I got a recommendation to visit french ridge hut from a friend so I took of even though I was starting to rain. Although I was soaking wet when I arrived at the hut the rain and clouds have transformed the whole valley in to an amazingly dramatic landscape. (Gear: Nikon D850 with the Nikkor 20 mm)
