North of Sweden again during November. We had finished work and were traveling home, we had a 3 day drive to get to Denmark to deliver the van and fly home and we drove past this frozen lake and had to stop to take a picture. It was about half past two in the afternoon, although sun is low all the time. It was very cold but I especially remember the stillness, everything was very quite and untouched, pure and beautiful.
Taken with a Nikon D3300 kit lens (18-55mm). ISO-100, f/10, 1/100s, 45mm.
The sky was blown out to the right side of the image and it bothered me a lot so I ended up cropping it quite a bit and find this more pleasing.
Rotated to straighten the horizon, boosted the warm colours, some contrast and saturation adjustments and brought down the highlights.
