Shot during a winter backcountry skiing trip to Jackson, Wyoming, in 2021 with my late friend Kyle Smaine. Throughout this trip, I was working on a bunch of new techniques and follow-cam movements while out shooting. I had been drawn to the slow shutter style pan in auto racing and wanted to give it a shot in more of my work. This style had rarely been used throughout the ski industry at the time, and I figured there was no better way to help elevate my style by adding the technique to my portfolio on this fresh pow day in the backcountry.
