This was taken during a blizzard in Fair Haven Connecticut on the shore of the Quinnipiac River in front of my house. The estuary where the Long Island Sound and the Quinnipiac River meet is full of ducks, geese, cormorants, swans, ospreys, etc as there is a nature preserve close by.
