I was trying to get a Christmas Card type picture of a robin. While I was shooting, a rival male robin appeared causing the one in focus to arch his body and take on an aggressive pose. Robins are highly territorial - males just dont tolerate intrusion. Hardly in the Christmas spirit of goodwill to fellow creatures, but I was pleased to capture the moment. Canon R6 with sigma 600m lens in bitterly cold, cloudy and murky conditions. Proper winter!
