Rules & Prizes
Welcome to the first Critique the Community Contest of 2025! Since it is deep winter in the Northern Hemisphere, we decided to make this month's theme "Winter." You can submit any image you've taken that captures cold, winter, or freezing elements. This theme isn't reserved for landscapes only, so feel free to submit your best portraits or product shots as well.
Rules
- This contest is 100% free to join
- Each photographer may submit up to 3 images
- Each photograph must include a small description that includes details about how the photograph was taken, what post processing was done to it, where it was taken, and what challenges you faced taking the image. Simply writing a single sentence that doesn't explain much of anything will disqualify you from being chosen!
- These images must have something to do with the Winter theme or else they will not be selected for the critique.
Prizes
For this contest, we are going back old school and offering every photograph featured in his Critique the Community a free Fstoppers Photography Tutorial from Fstoppers.com/store.
We are excited to see your best "winter" themed photographs and look forward to viewing all your submissions!

Login, hover over the photo you want removed, and you should be presented with a trashcan icon. Use that to delete the photo you want removed.
Congrats to the winners! I always try to think of which ones they'd pick and I was pretty on-point this time.
After a 5 year brake from Photography I am back. I will never give up on my first hobby and passion of my life.

Giving a real go at explaining my process lately. That includes here for the CTC as well. Hopefully it helps others, invites feedback, and will provide some context to images.
