I tried to capture in this photo the freezing cold of an early morning while the sun rising promises a quick disappearance of the beautiful structures created by the ice. The ephemeral aspect of this sight was appealing to me as I was walking in the crispy snow in search of an interesting subject. I used the beautiful color profile "Astia" from Fujifilm to get some rich colors and deep blacks, as it limit the post processing to a few steps - exposure / levels and lens corrections, that's it.
