This was shot in the "warmest" part of a low-lying Idaho valley, right where the last survivors of the thick vegetation were holding out against the encroaching (on the right) frost. This was a handheld shot! Took 3 tries to get it decently sharp, bracing on the rocks below me.

1/6 second shutter speed, ISO ~400 I think, F11 @ 28mm with my Tamron 28-200.
