Of course this is a go to image for winter time. A very popular cabin in British Columbia for good reason but this is from a less common angle.

It was a great morning in December, lots of open water and snow was falling nicely.

Problem is the snow didn't show up in the file so I added it in post. In hind sight I think if I brought a flash that might have worked to capture the snow and still have a well exposed image? I think Patrick did a snow portrait shoot a while ago but can't remember how it went.

Anyways, shot at 24mm, nothing too special. Edited basics in lightroom and then added snow in photoshop
