A father and daughter shell hunting on the beach just before sunset on the gulf coast of Florida. I created a few layers, one for the people which i wanted to leave in focus, another for the sky which i think has great drama to it already with another for the water and beach. I used a path blur for the beach and sand with two directions and blacked out the father daughter so they became silhouettes. I did the layering and path blurs in PS and lightroom for coloring which i really didnt touch much, just enhanced the vibrance a little bit.

This is such a soothing and lovely scene, Christopher. The long exposure of the sea and the two figures tell a nice story.
Thank you Christina, although it wasnt a long exposure, the affect comes from two path blurs to give that effect.
Thanks for that explanation, Christopher.
Nice frame.
