I could've probably shot baseball on older cameras for many more year and not get this shot. Before I got the Nikon Z9 I never got the ball hitting the bat. I think this was my first baseball game I shot on the Z9. I was so amazed at just how much more I was able to get shooting sports at 20 fps and that I was able to get the ball just as it made contact before it got deformed. This was a homerun swing too. Shot on a sigma 150-600 mm at 300 mm.
