I had the 1st gen Nikon Z7, which for landscape/city scape was amazing, but for subject tracking, anything moving fast or in low light it sucked for. Upgraded to the NIkon Z8 because I knew I wanted to start shooting sports, more portraits and get into video work which trhe Z8 does off al that and some. The Z7 would not allow me to capture this photo as it was to slow and the auto focus/subject tracting was not gonna cut it. But with the Z8 as you can see, has the speed and tech to keep up with sports/fact action and damn amazing focus for portraits.
