Hiked 3 miles and all I came away with was bubbles?! Never know what will catch your attention. Nature can provide some wonderful abstractions if you look closely enough. I had to precariously balance on a rock while shooting straight down through water (in the rain) to photograph these bubbles that were tightly perched on a rock. Not sure if I prefer this or the black and white version. Shot with a 105 mm f/2.8 macro.

Yes I agree never know what will catch your attention that's part of the excitement of getting out and exploring! But don't forget the joy of going past the discovery through photography by following up through. research, after all you may find those bubbles might be eggs. ;)
