The curvature of the tank changes the view of the individual treads but the rail holds the pattern together. Simple but interesting.
Yes that was what I was trying for. You should have seen me hanging from a tiny cleaning seat, on the adjacent tank, trying to get the perfect hight, turn around, and craft that image.
