Concept: travel.
It is a very simple set-up: just grabbed some issues from my collection of National Geographic journal, plus some props that represent travel (a very old binocular, an even older film camera -a beautiful Mamiya 500-, a compass and a notebook).
I placed all these things on the floor and my camera above on a tripod. That was pretty risky: I had to put the tripod on some chairs.
Very little edition in postprocess.

Nice... I really enjoy setting up projects like this. It caused me to wonder if you could take the elements a step further by placing the map on a table with maybe some soft shadowy light, and shoot the photo from an eyeball viewpoint instead of straight down. Something that gives the perspective from a person looking at maps and contemplating his next adventure.
Thank you for your advise. I think it would also add some depth to the photo. I will try it some time. Regards.
