To capture this photo, I used a slow shutter speed and started by locking focus on the illuminated church at the top of the hill, holding the camera steady just long enough to keep the steeple sharp. Then, while the shutter remained open, I quickly panned the camera toward the surrounding woods, allowing the lights from street lamps and church itself to stretch into fluid, abstract trails. The result is a controlled blend of clarity and motion, an image that feels both chaotic and intentional, with the church standing still at the center of a swirling, dreamlike landscape.
