I was at my parent´s summer house, the sun was about to set, and I suddenly became aware how this slightly curved aisplane trail aligned with these nearby trees. The color of the evening sky set a slightly eerie mood and I needed to hurry cathc this image before the aiarplane had travelled too far and the balance of the image was gone. What I had at hand was my trusty Nikon D700 with a Nikkor-S auto 1.4/5.8 cm. I set it to f/4, hoping that would provide sufficient sharpness, even in the corners. I think it did.
