Last time I visited the graves of my grandparents, a new grass covered mound had been built, to divide the graveyard from the parking lot. I found his new structure visually appealing, and worked the situation to try find animage that would justify my fascination. I think this is my best shot. I like the slanting curve of the mound´s top, discreetly mirrored by the cloud, and the ratio it draws between blue and green. The lamp post provides a fixation point and an slightly absurd and humoruous element, contrasting the grass and the sky, which also contrast each other in colour and texture.I caught the scene with my Nikon D700 and a Nikkor-S 1.4/5.8 cm at f/4, all natural light.
