In this portrait of Nelson and his vintage Buick Electra I wanted to create an edgy mood that reflected the environment of Detroit. Pentax 645Z, Profoto B1 with a Magnum Reflector. The challenge was lighting and defining the car and being careful of any hotspots from the light. I also kept the sky underexposed to give the clouds a raw texture.
