This shot was a couple months in planning, and a little luck. My assistant partially made this cutting board for the shot, and my location scout had an image of the outside of the shop. No image of the inside I was betting it was as awesome as I imagined.

It was cold and getting dark, and the rain outside was real, but trash bag covered ProPhoto with a full CTO get outside the window and a couple well other lights inside Pappa’s Woodshop was made with a cutting board and wood shavings we brought with us from the other side of the country.
