For this shot of a kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) emerging from the water with a bitterling (small fish), I used 5 flashes (SB800), triggered by a SU800 remotly attached with a cord, setup with hispeed sync. I used a D850 and a Nikkor 200-400 at 330mm, f5.6, 1/3200sec, ISO1600.
For the background (far away) I used natural light, I used 4 flashes on the bird, 1 from behind to lit the waterdrops.
