While photographing a solo cello recital at Carnegie Hall, the program allowed for time to experiment beyond what I typically capture for concert photography. Using a slow shutter speed, and some intentional camera movement, I tried to capture the intensity and emotion behind the cellist's performance.

Camera: Sony a1
Lens: Sony 300mm f/2.8
Settings: 1/5 | f/11 | ISO 200

Image was converted to black and white in Lightroom with a slight red tint added to the shadows.

It doesn't need work. A wonderful piece of photographic art just as it is.
