Part of an ongoing project of "People Who Look Like Their Pets." As we age our pets age with us, and with time the differences can begin to blur. This image was made in a Kreung tribal village in Cambodia. The gentleman and his cat share the same guarded stare, with sharp eyes taking in everything and revealing nothing. I was a passing invader in their world. The negative space that isolates the cat contrasts with the textures surrounding the man, yet they are one in look and attitude.
