Boats of Balaton
As the harbor series grew, the boats themselves became another subject. I have been part of the Balaton sailing and racing community for years, and I started photographing the characters of the lake: racing yachts, lone sails, reflections, details and fleeting moments on the water. People from that community began finding my photographs, recognizing their boats and asking whether prints or copies were available. That was the point where the project started becoming something larger than a personal archive.
