This image is part of the 2023 Men in Tubs Calendar where I donated money to mental health initiatives in BC Canada, mostly around the West Kootenays and Nelson, my hometown. I did that for 5 years.

This image was shot at Buchanan Lookout near Kaslo, BC. This used to be a fire lookout back in the days.

After taking a wrong turn, we manage to get to the spot with just enough time to catch enough of the sunset light. If you look in the background there a few forest fires smouldering smoke.

The concept behind this shoot was a floating tub cloud with the primary colours for balloons. there was a lot of wind which created this beautiful look like the model is taking off with the balloons. His propeller hat was spinning so fast it was hilarious to watch.
