Meltdown 1

I challenged myself to tell a short story in a newly created environment with ONE, rigid, dark gray toy figure. Only the hands are "posable" (read, can only revolve) First I set out to make a two-room diorama from scratch, using the internals of an old (landline) phone and laptop, foam, Subway sandwich and other food trays, Lego and more. The colorization of the figures was also done in PS. To make sure the reflections would be correct, I had built Lego stand-ins in the color I was going for. So during the shoot, I had the dark gray figure on one side and a colored version made of Lego on the other side.
