Taken along the coast of Washington during the sudden onset of a severe sandstorm that came out of nowhere. Sunny skies became ominous and dark within just a few minutes as the high winds filled the entire atmosphere with sand. With no more than a few feet of visibility and sand getting through our make-shift masks we were getting pretty freaked and bedded down for several hours to wait it out. My Nikon D300 survived unscathed...but earned a good cleaning when I got home.
