Who It's For:
The Canon EOS Rebel T3i is Canon's entry level HD DSLR. This camera was designed for amateur photographers who are looking to make the jump from a point and shoot to DSLR's. It's low price also makes it a viable option for professionals looking for a back up camera or second shooters camera.
What We Like:
Vari-Angle LCD: Makes shooting in tight spaces or awkward angles much easier.
Weight: At only 1.1 pounds, the Rebel should be a breeze to carry around all day.
Resolution: For an entry-level camera, 18mp’s is more than enough for anyone at this level.
Price: It’s an entry level camera so the price is going to be low, it’s definitely worth looking at if you’re a professional in need of a simple back up or someone who is just getting into photography who wants their first DSLR.
What We Don't:
Weight: While being super light can be a benefit, when attached to a heavier lens, the camera has a tendency to be unbalanced and difficult to manage.
