Yes, this video is commissioned by Sony, but don't rule it out — there is some great information in it. I have been shooting with a Sony for several years, among other manufacturers. Sony became my workhorse when it was time to upgrade my old Canon DSLR and Canon's mirrorless options were almost nonexistent. The bulk of my professional photography is split into two rather distinct camps: portraiture and macro. Given how different the subjects and workflows are for these two genres, you wouldn't think they'd be much overlap in the lens department, but there can be.
I have written before on the subject of macro lenses making for great portrait glass and it remains true. The Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS lens was a must-buy for me when I moved to the Sony ecosystem. Although I have used dedicated, macro-only lenses before, I find the right macro prime is sufficient for what I do, especially with extension tubes. However, the Sony 90mm has become one of my most used lenses for portraiture too, acting as a fantastic piece of kit for headshots.
