Christopher Frost os the absolute best lens reviewer I know.

With so many macros to choose from, especially beyond this small sampling, it really just comes down to what you find attractive and can afford. Just about any macro will give great IQ, although I was surprised at the Canon having quite a bit of CA and not as good as other macros I've worked with.

I'm not sure I get the point of a comparison like this. If it was all lenses that can be used on the same system that's one thing but what's really the point of comparing a Canon and Nikon? If you have a Canon or Nikon body then a lens for the other system would seem of little interest.
