Canon RF 135mm f/1.8L IS USM Lens
There is less information on the RF 135mm f/1.8L IS USM, the long-awaited update to the legendary EF 135mm f/2L lens, though a launch MSRP of $2,099 is expected. While expensive, the original model launched at an MSRP of $1,089 in 1996, which is equivalent to $2,060 today, making the new model right in line with the old.
Look for both the camera and lens next month.
I have a perfectly working 135mm f/2 and have no desire to get rid of it. Considering the price of the new one, I'd keep mine for a long time.
There's also info about the sensor being stacked. for that 2.5k price, that's a banger from canon.
